You know, that's another thing that confuses the hell out of me. I've been using something that says it's "medium brown," but the last time I went looking, they had "reddish brown" and "golden brown" and "medium golden brown," etc., etc. I just stared at all these little packages (with pictures of gorgeous 20-something models on them) and wondered what the different colors would look like on my head.
I'm a coward, though. I ended up getting medium brown.
